A sustainability committee was launched during 2019 and the University is constantly evolving its practices for the good of the students, staff and community. Together, with small changes we can make a large enough impact to change the future of sustainability and respond to and manage climate change.

The Environmental Sustainability Lead for the University said: 鈥淎s one of the largest organisations in the Greater Manchester region, the University recognises the environmental impacts from its activities, routine operations, infrastructure development and its influence over wider community regionally, nationally and globally.

The University will be using as their prime objectives and will plan and work to achieve the goals in alignment with regional and national timelines.鈥�
